“Ireland and Me:” A Personal Essay

Just came across this old essay of mine, “Ireland and Me” published in the Irish Times and later included in a multi-author e-book of the same title. The essay opens with a man stealing Guinness cans from an Irish Rail dining trolley. It closes with some still-relevant observations about the immigrant experience in America.
