In October 2018, I co presented with author Dr. Carolyn Roy Bornstein.

Read about our Presentation, “SHOW. TELL. DELETE: Crafting Our Stories with Courage, Humility, Integrity and Power on first-person nonfiction writing” at the Conference website.

Visit the Newburyport Literary Festival, April 27 and 28.

This popular festival is hosted by my adopted home of Newburyport, Massachusetts.  All events, readings and panels are within walking distance of each other and of our historic downtown.

This year, I am participating in the festival's closing event, "Women's Voices: Four Local Fiction Authors Discuss Their Work."

Come on out and hear what we have to say about the joys and challenges of the writing life.

Or get a pre-taste here in this video where, as well as the writing life,  I talk about my adopted home on the Merrimack River (make sure to watch for the walk-on guest near the video's end).

Other Events

I have presented at large and small conferences, and I'm never happier and more relaxed than when I'm leading or facilitating the conversation about writing and books.

Need a speaker or panelist? Email me and we can talk about potential topics and interactive activities.

 My presentations get great reviews!

I  know our students got a lot out of your presentations." Writers Digest National Conference, NYC, 2014

She is a very clear and demanding speaker who holds your attention, makes you laugh, and says a lot of very true things that make you think, and keep thinking. She has a soft voice and wields this power gently; the overall impression is of kindness, hilarity, and respect ...  If you get a chance to meet Ms. Greaney or attend one of her workshops, I highly recommend it. — Student, Unicorn Writer's Conference

In the 10 years of our program, yours was the best and most polished presentation. — Director, University of North Florida Irish Studies Program
